The photos do not correspond to the site.nWe arrived based on the comments and were surprised that it is not a restaurant, it is a family home and they take a long time to make the food. They are not prepared to serve what is requested. We found it expensive for the type of food and service.nnWe ordered covered fish and it was raw with no flavor.nUnfortunately I don't recommend it. Don't be fooled by the other comments.

During our two week trip through Guatemala, we stopped at a variety of eateries. From roadside comidors, to carefully curated restaurants in hotels, we got to experience the gamut of gastronomy in Guatemala. Chef Pablo, of Paladar Gourmet Restaurante, stood in a class of his own. The seafood dishes we ate were cleverly crafted, beautifully presented, and deliciously executed. The outstanding culinary experience extended beyond the dishes, to the thoughtful and kind presence of our hosts. The experience stands out as a fond highlight of our trip, and given the opportunity, I highly recommend you experience chef Pablo's work yourself. Buen Provecho!

We found this restaurant while staying in La Libertad Guatemala. They have good food at a good price.nnThe owner was very nice and friendly.
