You could say I’m pretty picky when it comes to restaurants. I expect good service, great drinks, and most importantly, amazing food. I was a little disappointed with the food in Roatan until I stumbled upon this hidden gem. Pura Vida is a gorgeous waterfront spot in Half Moon Bay. The owner’s from Costa Rica, and let me tell you, she knows her stuff.nnThe vibe, the service, and most importantly, the food—all of it was top-notch. I ended up eating there more than once during my week in Roatan. Their empanadas are downright delicious, the fresh juices are so good they might be addictive, and the main courses? You won’t be disappointed. I’m still dreaming about that stuffed lobster dish I had — I actually went back more than once just for that! Honestly, I dare say it’s the best lobster in Roatan.nnBig thanks for the mouthwatering experience—can’t wait to go back!

Awesome food. Empanadas were oh my hell good!! I had shrimp stuffed lobster. Best lobster I have ever had! Amazing customer service as well. Highly recommend!

They went above and beyond for our groups dining experience. The food: amazing. The atmosphere: phenomenal. The view: beautiful. I highly recommend Pura Vida if you’re in the area.

This is a must go place in Roatan! We went tonight and everything we ate was so fresh and delicious from the amazing fresh spiked juices to our lobster. Our favorites were the conch ceviche with an outstanding flavor profile and the lobster stuffed with shrimp. The staff is very attentive and had great recommendations. They are very passionate about their food and it comes across in every dish. Don’t miss this one!

Omg the food is amazing!!! We got the beef stew (special) and some tamales, dear god it was the best. Hands down the best food in all of the west end! Plus the atmosphere and the drinks! To top it off you can fill your belly, get a little tipsy, and go for a swimnRight off the deck! Visit here is you’re in roatan.
