I have been a patron of this restaurant since pre covid and have always enjoyed their food immensely. However, tonight my experience eating in was horrible. The guy who worked at the counter was incredibly rude from the moment we arrived, so much so that we felt uncomfortable even eating our meals in the establishment. We paid with a hundred dollar bill and he meticulously checked the bill multiple times, which was excessive and offensive when the first time he marked it with the pen it indicated it was real. When we first ordered I asked the guy if we could have our drinks before we went to our table and he cut me off by saying “I’ll bring you everything”, we then proceeded to wait 15 minutes before going up to ask for our drinks again which he begrudgingly gave to us. The restaurant was empty, we ordered 3 things and it took us 30 minutes to get our food. When we received the food, it was missing an extra sauce we had ordered and the cachapa was burnt. We went to ask for the extra sauce and he insisted that he gave us them and there was a brief back and forth before he agreed to sell us an extra sauce. I’ve spent hundreds probably close to a thousand dollars here since 2019, it was one of my favorite places in the city, and I honestly probably won’t come here again because of this experience.
